Terms of Service
These Terms apply to your use of Carryr. Carryr is a digital estate execution platform focused on digital assets. Carryr is not a law firm and does not provide legal or financial advice.
What Carryr is (and isn’t)
- Carryr helps collect, structure, and safeguard digital-asset information and instructions.
- Carryr can prepare structured outputs (e.g., Digital Asset Schedules) for your records and for your solicitor.
- Carryr is not a law firm and does not draft your will or advise on legal distribution.
- Legal authority to act comes from a valid will and (where applicable) probate and executor authority.
Two-stage engagement model
Carryr’s services are commonly structured in two stages:
- Client Service Agreement (CSA) (while you are alive): information gathering and preparation only.
- Executor Engagement Agreement (EEA) (after death and authority confirmed): an executor may engage Carryr as a service provider to carry out execution tasks relating to digital assets.
Carryr does not become the executor by default. The executor retains authority and oversight.
No legal or financial advice
- Carryr can provide general education about how platforms and digital assets work.
- Carryr does not provide advice about how you should distribute assets or draft dispositive clauses.
- You should obtain independent legal advice and have a licensed solicitor draft or review your will.
Appointments and consults
- We may ask pre-consult questions to prepare for your meeting and match you with the right specialist.
- If recording is offered, it will be on an opt-in basis and with your consent.
- Scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations may be subject to reasonable notice requirements.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and keep your instructions up to date.
- Use Carryr lawfully and only for assets and accounts you are authorized to describe.
- Keep your account secure and notify us of suspected compromise.
Limitations and disclaimers
- Outcomes depend on third-party platforms, lawful authority, and the executor’s instructions.
- Carryr cannot guarantee access to, recovery of, or transfer of any specific digital asset.
- We may refuse or pause action where authority is unclear or instructions are inconsistent with law.
These Terms are informational and should be reviewed by counsel before production use.
